Road Maintenance Work Complete...

Road maintenance work has been completed on the internal road of the Asco Miki Leland Condominium, which had been closed to traffic after being damaged by a landslide and ground cracking in the area. The road has now been reopened to traffic.

Engineer Adisu Yirgu, Director of Road Maintenance at the Authority, said the road was damaged during the 2017 Ethiopian fiscal year following a landslide that occurred during the rainy season.

He explained that the necessary maintenance work has now been completed and the road has been reopened for traffic.

Engineer Adisu further stated that a study is underway to identify a long-term solution to the problem in the area. He added that drainage channels for rainwater, along with other related construction works, will be carried out to improve the road’s safety and prevent similar damage in the future.
