Drainage Line Construction Underway Around Mendida Hospital
To reduce the risk of flooding during the rainy season, roadside water drainage construction and water flow improvement works are actively being carried out across various parts of the city.
Among the sites currently undergoing drainage system construction is the area around Mendida General Hospital in Woreda 7, Kolfe Keraniyo Sub-City.
The drainage pipeline installation taking place near Mendida General Hospital spans 200 meters in length and is expected to play a significant role in alleviating local flooding issues.
The Authority recalled that it had previously implemented corrective measures in areas identified as vulnerable to flood hazards, adding that it will continue strengthening similar interventions in additional locations moving forward.
