Holiday gifts were presented to 48 children permanently supported by the Authority and 1,574 low-income employees.

Addis Ababa, Pagume 4, 2018 (E.C.): In celebration of the 2019 New Year, the Addis Ababa City Roads Authority coordinated with partner organizations to provide holiday gifts to 48 children under its permanent care and to the institution's low-income employees.

By collaborating with its working contractors and suppliers, the Authority distributed 5 liters of cooking oil and 5 kilograms of wheat flour to each of the 1,574 employees requiring special assistance, as well as to the 48 permanently supported children.

Additionally, the Authority hosted an honorable farewell ceremony for 86 retiring employees who have completed their years of service. They were awarded certificates of recognition, and each received a holiday cash gift of 3,000 Birr.
