Road construction processes
The process of road construction is a highly careful, engineering task involving a lot of manpower and machinery. Here are the basic steps that follow a straight path from start to finish:
1. Site Preparation (Clearing and Grubbing)
As soon as construction begins, a space must be cleared in front of the road.
• Cleaning: Remove trees, shrubs, and obstacles along the path.
• Stripping: Topsoil that is not useful for the soil is excavated and removed.
2. Earthwork
This stage involves 3 steps that will determine the basis of its path.
• Excavation: Excavation of high places.
• Embankment/Filling: Contaminated areas are repaired with embankment at the selected site.
• Compaction: The mixture is thoroughly compacted by roller without settling.
3. Pavement Layers of Roads
Checks following an asphalt road:
1. Human-Grade (Subgrade): The logical basis for arranging the conflict of natural affairs.
2. Sub-base: A layer of smooth or cracked rock.
3. Base Course: A layer of high quality crushed stone that drips and transfers vehicle loads to the touch.
4. Orange Coat (Prime Coat and Tack Coat)
Before the asphalt is removed, he chooses a range so that the layers adhere to each other:
• Prime Coat: When applied to the base course, it allows the asphalt to adhere.
• Tack Coat: An adhesive applied to aged asphalt or the first layer of asphalt.
5. Asphalt Surfacing
This is the last part of our dead road.
• Bitumen: Bitumen is crushed and mixed at high temperature by machine (Asphalt Plant).
• Paving: Paver machine facility is installed with the required investment.
• Soft: When the asphalt is still hot, the roller squeezes it to make the asphalt stronger.
6. Ancillary Works
The security measures to be taken before it opens its way to service are:
• Drainage: Completion of side ditches and water distribution pipes.
• Road Marking: Draw white and yellow lines.
• Signs and lights: Traffic signs and night lights principle.

Assembly of Construction Machinery: Machines like Grader, Excavator, Loader and Dump Truck are widely used in this process.
