Priority is being given to maintaining shortcut roads that play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion observed on main roads and improving traffic flow.

Among the roads currently undergoing maintenance is the shortcut connecting the Uganda Embassy to Riche, located in Kirkos Sub-City, Woreda 02.

At this site, maintenance work is being carried out on an 830-meter-long asphalt road, alongside which a 400-meter-long drainage system will be installed.

The maintenance of shortcut roads helps alleviate traffic pressure on main roads by reducing both travel time and expenses for road users.
